| Q: |
When I try and access the JITC Web Site, I keep getting "The server does not have a DNS entry." What does this mean? |
| A: |
The internet folks provide a Domain Name Service or DNS that automatically resolve Internet names into IP addresses. Sites can configure their servers to use Domain Name System (DNS) lookups during normal operation. By default, DNS is NOT enabled; if DNS is enabled, the server will look up the hostname for a system's IP address.
Ask your system administrator to enable DNS. In the meantime, try using the IP address. The JITC Web Site IP address is:
http://198.154.64.17
