System Description:
The Rockwell AN/ARC-220 High Frequency Nap-of-the-Earth (HF NOE) aircraft communications system is an easy-to-operate, multifunctional, fully digital signal processing high frequency radio intended for Rotary-wing tactical airborne appilcations.  The radio allows heads-up operation of NOE mission-critical communications tasks. Embedded Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) with Linking Protection, Electronic Counter-Countermeasures (ECCM), and combined ALE-ECCM capability are provided in both voice and data modes of operations.
