System Description:
The Rohde
and Schwarz EK-895 is a compact 19.5 " DSP-based, high-end receiver for radio
communications, radio monitoring and detection, search operations, DF systems
and as a front-end for HF intelligence tasks. Operational features
incorporated into the EK-895 are a preamplifier, noise blanker, squelch,
notch filter, and passband tuning. The built-in memory has the capacity for
non-volatile storage of 1000 complete channel settings so that channel management
and control by an external computer are not required, but possible.
