Welcome to the JITC's DoD 5015.02-STD Electronic Recordkeeping System Compliance Testing Program!
Purpose
The JITC performs testing of RMA products for compliance with DoD 5015.02-STD. It is DoD policy that only compliant
products be acquired by DoD organizations. Products that have been successfully tested are listed in the
compliant Product Register.

Mr. Grimes the Assistant Secretary of Defense and Department of Defense Chief Information Officer
signed Version 3 of DoD 5015.02-STD, "Electronic Records Management Software Applications Design Criteria Standard,"
on April 25, 2007. Major additions in this version include requirements to support the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act, and interoperability.
The new standard is now available via the Defense Technical Information Center or JITC Records

The National Archives and Records Administration has endorsed DoD 5015.02-STD version 3.

The JITC also provides assistance in assessing whether systems are ready for testing and assistance in clarifying
requirements in DoD 5015.02-STD. Potential test sponsors are encouraged to use this informal service prior to
formally requesting compliance testing.
