PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Contingency Acquisition Support Module (cASM) is an Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L), Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy (DPAP) Office initiative to provide the Warfighter with an automated means to develop and staff the purchase requests packages required to acquire supplies and services needed within a contingency environment.
The application is designed to assist users and others responsible for initiating requirements packages in the contingency environment and to route the documents to reviewers and approvers in an appropriate workflow. The output of cASM processing is the completed, approved requirements package that is ready for initiating a contracting action in the contingency contracting office.
