JITC PKE LAB TESTING PROCEDURES:

4. Download The Cignacom Solutions' Conformance Testing of Relying Party Client Certificate Path Processing Logic Certificates from the online resources page.
5. Complete your internal testing using the Cignacom Solutions' Conformance Testing of Relying Party Client Certificate Path Processing Logic test suite.
NOTE: All level 1 and level 2 tests must pass, level 3 tests are for diagnostics.
6. Request JITC-issued client certificates from the PKI Lab page.
NOTE: You must request a JITC Valid, Revoked, and Expired certificate.
7. If the application can support Common Access Cards (CACs) and if requested, we will test with JITC-issued CACs (Valid, Revoked, and Expired).
NOTE: The PKE Lab personnel can assist in you acquiring JITC-issued CACs.
8. Once internal testing is complete, then download and prepare the PKE Application Assessment Worksheet (AAW) from the online resources page.
9. Once the AAW is complete, submit the AAW to the JITC PKE Team.
10. Once received, the PKE Lab Manager will review the AAW. He will do one of two things:
- Respond to you with questions about your application.
- Assign a test engineer.
11. Once a test engineer is assigned, the test engineer will contact you for more information (e.g. for software: Where to download it? and for Hardware: The test engineer will give you the shipping address.)
12. Throughout the testing process the test engineer will be in constant contact with the technical POC listed on the AAW.
13. Once testing is complete, the test engineer will complete the JITC Certification documentation. The test engineer has 15 working days to deliver it to the Government Action Officer (AO).
14. Once delivered to the AO, the PKE Lab can only assist in tracking the certification letter.
