Associated Software None, although Adobe Reader is a stand-alone application, it does provide a plug-in to Microsoft's Internet Explorer (v 6 and later) and Firefox (v 2 and later) on Windows or Apple's Safari (v 2.04 and later) allowing the user to create and verify digital signatures on a PDF when viewed inside the browser.
Common Access Card Information Tested. Works with DoD Common Access Cards.
Application Description Adobe Reader 9.0 is free software that lets you view, print, search, and share Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Adobe Reader will always validate existing digital signatures, and if the PDF file is specially enabled, the capability is available to add a digital signature to the file.
