Application Description
SecureXML Digital Signature Toolkit is available in three different packages viz. as a Java class, as a Java Applet and as a COM object. It is designed for creating and verifying digital signatures using XML syntax. The component implements the W3C Recommendation for XML Signatures. The component utilizes X.509v3 PKI certificates that can be stored on local Windows Certificate Store, Smart Cards (CAC) or USB Token. It does certificate validation using CRL fetching, OCSP and CAM server. It allows the use an external time stamping server.
