Application Description
Juniper Networks, Inc.'s Unified Access Control (UAC) provides remote access via an Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/Transmission Security Layer (TLS)-encrypted connection for management and 802.1X Remote Access Dial-In User Server (RADIUS) based protocols. Remote users can be authenticated via the Department of Defense (DoD) PKI-based Common Access Card (CAC) certificate mechanism. The application is supported on the legacy IC6500FIPS (previously certified with UAC 4.1r2 software), MAG family hardware appliances and virtual appliances that can be installed on a customer’s server.
