Application Description
Electronic Transportation Acquisition is a single sign-on portal for the Military Traffic Management Command transportation applications, which accepts digital certificates as a means of identifying the user. Access controls are imposed based on roles and privileges of the user contained in a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) database. ETA is an in-house developed system written in Microsoft ASP 3.0 that runs on a Windows 2000 Server in collaboration with Netscape Directory Server 4.12.
