Application Description
e-Sign Desktop is an out-of-the-box desktop application that makes it easy to electroni¬cally sign ad hoc processes. With e-Sign Desktop, documents can be signed and archived in their native file formats. The software quickly integrates with applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, IBM Lotus Forms Designer and Viewer, Adobe Acrobat and Reader. Signing buttons appear within the application toolbar and users simply click to add their electronic signature. An image of each signer’s handwritten signature is also secured within the document. This replicates the appearance of hand-signed documents, both on-screen and when printed. e-Sign Desktop™ supports three signing methods: signature capture pad, secure signature file or digital certificate. It also supports multiple signatures in the same document and allows automatic placement of signatures in the correct location in the document (signature location can also be selected manually by the signer). This description was provided by the vendor.
